Beyond the usual – perhaps: CPD offers and opportunities beyond the national frameworks and reforms

This session aims to draw on colleagues' excellent practice, and provide ideas and stimulus to reimaging what is possible within the current education landscape. It will be run as a ‘teachmeet’ style workshop in which members take five minutes each to share experiences of how either:

(a) they have extended their CPD offer, e.g. through piggy-backing onto existing frameworks, for example, offering extended leadership development that offer further school leadership enhancement focusing on Strategic Leadership, systems leaders, pastoral leadership, careers leadership or

(b) how schools have asked for CPD that goes beyond the narrow DfE diet (e.g. schools returning to M-level qualifications and their reasons for doing so) for example, effective engagement in research, how to conduct a research project and MA studies as part of the school's research offer for staff.

Please register if you are attending the morning session; the afternoon part of the forum (1.00 - 3.00 pm) is free to attend.
