| The deadline is almost here for the IPDA England Conference 2027, taking place at Birmingham City University on 22 January 2027. The deadline is 31 October 2026. This year’s theme is The space between… re-imagining professional learning for transformation — an invitation to explore the liminal spaces in professional learning: the gaps between policy and practice, between who we are and who we are becoming, and between where professional learning is now and where it needs to go. We welcome submissions across a wide range of strands, including teacher education, Early Years, Further Education, Higher Education, Special Educational Needs, and leadership. The full list of strands is available on the conference page. Submissions can take the form of paper presentations, round tables, posters, or symposia. Abstract deadline: 31 October 2026 Conference fees start from £35 for students and retirees, with IPDA member rates available across all ticket types.
