Local Matters: free online CPD resource for schools

Building on the University of Manchester’s Local Matters programme, Dr Louisa Dawes and Dr Carl Emery have worked in collaboration with the National Education Union (NEU) to create a new free online CPD resource supporting schools to understand and respond to poverty in their own local contexts.

Designed for school leaders, teachers at any stage of their career and other education professionals, the resource draws on the learning and experiences of schools already involved in Local Matters and offers practical opportunities for reflection, discussion and action.

Join us for the online launch on Wednesday 21 October, 4.15–5.00pm to find out more, hear from participating schools and explore how the resource could support your setting. Attendees will receive free access to the resource.
