ITE accreditation 2

UCET will be holding a meeting on the recent announcement by the DfE on reaccreditation for providers.

Please see a copy of the message below from DfE about the accreditation window for providers currently acting as lead partners who wish to secure reaccreditation from either 2026/27 or 2027/28.

Please register if you would like to attend; there is no charge. The meeting may not be recorded due to reasons of confidentiality.

The key change from earlier notifications is that there will now be two separate accreditation rounds for those seeking reaccreditation from either 2026/27 or 2027/28.

The round for 2026/27 starters will run from 26 February with a submission date of 7 April, followed by verbal interviews between 28 April and 9 May. The results will be announced by 30 June.

The round for 2027/28 will run from October 2025 until February 2026.

You must choose which round to apply for.

If you apply for 2026/27 you will not be able to reapply for 2027/28, although you will be able to switch from 2026/27 to 2027/28 up until the 2026/27 submission deadline of 7 April.
