Research and International Forum

The aim of the UCET Research and International Forum is to discuss and debate issues relating to research in education (with particular regard to teacher education) as well as any international issues of relevance to UCET members. Forum members are also kept abreast of any significant international developments.

We invite colleagues from across UCET institutions to share short 2–3 minute overviews of current teacher education research that you are undertaking, or that is taking place in your setting. These contributions can highlight ongoing projects, emerging findings, innovative methodologies, or collaborative initiatives that may be of interest to the wider community. Our aim is to showcase the breadth and depth of research activity across the sector and to strengthen connections between colleagues working in related areas. These overviews will be based on a lightning talks format. This involves a series of brief presentations focused on communicating key points. This format will help you present your research findings in a way that sparks conversation and leads to collaborations.
