UCET Workshop: Supporting International Students

We will be holding a free on-line workshop on the challenges facing ITE providers in providing support for international students and the strategies that are being developed to address those challenges, with contributors including: Rachel Cooper (Warwick); Andrew Howes (Manchester); and Sarah Shepherd (Cumbria). Please click on the following link to register: The workshop will include discussion of the support ITE providers give to international students, for example in terms of: support and the interview, pre-course and on-course stages; supporting international students understand the professional contexts within which they will be working; academic expectations and norms; and engaging with schools and supporting international students whilst on placement.
