UCET Annual Conference 2018: dates
6-7 November 2018
This year’s UCET annual conference will take place on 6-7 November at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Stratford- upon-Avon. Formal registration will open later in the year. In the meantime please put the dates in your diary now. If you are interested in leading a workshop at the conference please contact j.noble-rogers@ucet.ac.uk. Workshops last for one hour and can be on any issues relating to teacher education or education research.

AAETP Ltd. (a UCET NASBTT company)
AAETP, the Association of Accredited Education Teacher Partnerships Ltd., is a company that has been established jointly by UCET and NASBTT (National Association of School-Based Teacher Trainers) to oversee the end point assessment process for QTS apprenticeships. AAETP has now been formally incorporated.

Free membership of the Chartered College of Teaching
The Chartered College of Teaching is the professional body for teachers and leaders across all phases and settings. The mission of the Chartered College to enhance teachers’ expertise through collaboration, access to high quality professional learning, career pathways and research is vitally important.
The CCT is asking if members can encourage their student teachers to join the CCT free of charge, even if they have placements for September 2018.

UCET-NASBTT Workshop: Training and Assessment Toolkit (17th & 23rd April)

Following the launch of the third edition of the Training and Assessment Toolkit in December 2017, the purpose of this workshop is to provide an opportunity to take stock of where we are, as providers of ITT, in terms of securing consistently accurate assessment of trainee teachers’ progress linked to the impact they have on pupils’ learning and progress over time.
