Supporting University Students: Dealing with the impact of Covid-19 and the cost of living crisis, prioritising student wellbeing and providing high quality education

Public Policy Exchange webinar: A survey of students by Student Minds in November 2022 found that one in three students have poor mental wellbeing, a quarter have a current, diagnosed mental health issue, 30% had experienced worsening mental health since beginning university, and for 59% managing money was a cause of stress ‘often’ or ‘all of the time’ - an increase of thirteen percentage points compared to 2020/21.
