Edge Hill University/NFER/Education Endowment Foundation: Year 2 mathematics intervention effectiveness research trial

Edge Hill University in partnership with the Education Endowment Foundation and the NFER are running a Year 2 mathematics intervention effectiveness research trial, participant schools are particularly needed in South Tyneside, Durham, Teeside, Derbyshire, Cambridgeshire, Berkshire, South Gloucestershire, Bristol, East Sussex. The trial is recruiting now up until July for intervention delivery from November 2023 – March 2024. Please would fellow Universities share with their school partnership - the project will cost £200 but schools will receive a £500 incentive payment once research data has been collected.

A great opportunity! - to access this successful intervention at reduced cost and schools will contribute to the evidence relating to the impact of 1stClass@Number 1 on mathematics outcomes for Year 2 pupils, especially for disadvantaged pupils.
