National Primary Teacher Education Council: events calender 2023

We begin with two FREE on-line interactive events “Conversations in Primary Education”.

1) Thursday, 26th January 2023 from 3.30-5pm. Our speaker is Henry Staunton, and we take the theme of curriculum building and design in the ITE Curriculum.

2) Thursday, 25th May 2023 from 3.30-5pm. Speaker to be confirmed. Our theme is new partnerships and international perspectives.

3) Thursday, 22nd June 2023 when we join with the University of Worcester for a face-to-face conference at the picturesque St. John’s campus. This ½ day conference will explore the Primary curriculum and subject pedagogy. Speakers including James Noble Rogers already confirmed. There will be a charge for attendance. Further details soon.

4) Friday, 29th September (pm) and Saturday, 30th September 2023 (am) we return to beautiful St. Hugh’s College, Oxford for our annual conference. This is a face-to-face event over two days under the theme of developing perspectives in Primary education. There is a charge for attendance. Top speakers taking critical perspective on Primary education, opportunities to network, a fabulous meal on Friday evening. Come for either or both days!

Who should attend? Teachers, school leaders, student teachers, HEI tutors and anyone with a vested interest in curriculum and pedagogy in Primary education.
