TEAN 1st Annual Conference - 21 May 2010

Aims of the Conference:

Building on our five ITE conferences presented for ESCalate, we present your first Teacher Education Advancement Network conference. We recognise the ongoing need for a dedicated forum for Teacher Education research and scholarly activity and will showcase contributions from colleagues from all four countries of the UK. We are very pleased to announce that Anthony Finn, Chief Executive of the General Teaching Council of Scotland will open the conference.

Who is it for?

The conference is aimed at all practitioners working in teacher education from the four countries of the UK and all other agencies with a professional interest in teacher education. It could well also resonate with colleagues from the international scene. Our focus is on schools, however, transferable knowledge from other sectors is also welcomed in the conference.
