Governance & Committee Officer: Mr John Mounfield

John Mounfield has a background working in administrative and managerial functions; mainly in the public sector in the National Health Service and in Postgraduate Medical Education. He has also worked for a private training organisation. His first degree was in Politics and Sociology from Durham University and he has an MA in Personnel and Development from De Montfort University. He is a member of the Institute of Health Care Management (IHM) and of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

John has been the UCET Governance and Committee Officer since May 2007. His responsibilities include: arranging and servicing formal UCET committee meetings and ad hoc meetings, organising elections, undertaking surveys and research, monitoring sources of information for matters of interest to UCET members, providing information updates to the UCET website manager and ensuring information on the UCET database is kept up to date. In relation to these duties, he responds to requests from UCET member institutions for support or advice.
